Editorial policy
Stellar Travel Stories aims to make astronomy-minded travel clear, curious and dependable. We distinguish established information from interpretation and take responsibility for correcting errors.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against suitable sources and write so readers can tell what is known, what is an interpretation and what may vary by place or time. Articles should not imply that a viewing experience, venue access or sky condition is guaranteed.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and relevance. A partnership or commercial relationship does not buy a favourable editorial conclusion, and material written to promote a partner is kept distinct from independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests, update material when warranted and make significant changes clear to readers.
Partnership labels and illustrations
Paid, supplied or partner-supported material is identified plainly where it appears. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; where relevant, they are labelled, and they are not presented as documentary photographs of real places or events.
The sky is part of the place
A dark horizon, a dome full of stars or a telescope set in a familiar landscape can change how a journey feels. We look closely at those encounters and the choices around them.
