Stellar Travel Stories

Write for us

We welcome pitches that connect astronomy with travel through a specific place, a useful choice or a revealing piece of sky-related history. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not send a complete article unless we ask for one.

What we are looking for

Good proposals have a clear subject and a reason it matters to a curious traveller. They might explain what makes a planetarium visit distinctive, explore how an observatory's setting shapes a visit or make a complex sky concept easier to notice outdoors.

Make the pitch concrete

Tell us the working angle, the reader it serves and the main points you would cover. Note any sources you expect to use, any relevant experience you can describe accurately and whether the idea depends on a particular season, venue schedule or access arrangement.

Our editorial expectations

We value precise language, original framing and careful handling of uncertainty. Avoid unsupported claims, disguised promotion and advice that depends on unverified local arrangements. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of publication.

Our point of view

The sky is part of the place

A dark horizon, a dome full of stars or a telescope set in a familiar landscape can change how a journey feels. We look closely at those encounters and the choices around them.
